The beginning

Here goes my stab in the world of blogging! Brian and I have been discussing doing this for a few weeks now, in order to keep family and friends in the know in regards to our crazy lives. We have talked about many things especially what it is God has placed us on the earth to do. We have prayed and had long talks to clarify our 'mission' so to speak. Our conclusion is that God desires for our home to be a place to offer humor and help to our fellow believers in Christ as well as to shepherd those who are searching for what this life is all about. We almost always have someone around whether it be my fellow military wives or his buddies from work, who need a home away from home. We have been told that our home is a safe place to be real. The reason behind the name Warrior's Oasis is that whether in or out of the military, we desire to minister to our fellow warriors for Christ, as well as providing an oasis for those who are lost.

God has guided us through some incredibly deep valleys and dark days, I believe in order to be able to reach the hearts of those who are truly hurting. We can both now see the good that has come from the battles we have faced. God is truly faithful to those who rest in Him.

We will use this blog to keep y'all updated on what is going on in our crazy lives, how quickly the boys are growing and all the other things that may cross my mind!!

I will get hopefully get some photos on here over the next week as I get more accustomed to how to do all of this.
